Two days ago we were given an assignment to come up with a few sample shots to show a client who is planning on publishing a dessert cook book for the Chinese market. We decided on taking two different approaches. First was a more traditional and simple food photography approach, using soft light and minimal arrangements in our studio in Shanghai.
Second we tried a fun ‘over the top shot’ with vibrant colors and a low angle. The sky and grass were added in by LJ, on of our senior retoucher from our post-production team.
