About The Client
Paulmann Licht GmbH is Germany’s leading manufacturer of high-quality lighting equipment. The 2006 catalog contains more than 2,500 lights from various product lines. Most of the products are manufactured by a variety of companies in China and the rest of Asia.
  
 
 
Problem
Paulmann’s suppliers previously sent all product samples from China directly to Germany prior to photography. This was time-demanding and cost-intensive as many products were damaged on the long journey. After the product samples arrived in Germany, they were forwarded to photo studios. This required a lot of resources at Paulmann’s headquarter in Germany: Time, money, space and man-power to handle the entire logistics. 
 
 
Solution
Now, all engaged suppliers send product samples to the recently established Paulmann Purchasing Office in Guangzhou, which collects all the product samples and ships them directlyse to the Rimagine studios. Once the products have arrived, these they are photographed and retouched based on the pre-defined Paulmann requirements.

Once After the images are approved by Rimagine’s Quality Assurance Team, the photographs are uploaded to a our server. The graphic department of at Paulmann gets gains instant access to these images over a secure internet connection and can immediately start working with these.
