About The Client
ThyssenKrupp Elevators (TKE) is one of the top three manufacturing and service players of the international elevator industry. The company produces and installs TKE elevators in a big variety of different buildings. The business also maintains third party lifts and is one of the leading players in Asia. 
 
 
Problem
In early 2007, TKE realized that it did not have up-to-date and appealing company brochures which could be handed out to potential and existing clients. The existing brochures contained old and irrelevant information which urgently needed to be corrected. Also, the entire look and feel needed to get a overall facelift.
 
 
Solution
Our graphic designer, Anja, first studied the existing branding guidelines of TKE and came up with first drafts how she envisioned the new company brochures to look like. After one week of intensive meetings and presentations, one final version of the mood and story board were selected and the production team of Rimagine could take over.

Based on the mood and story board, a Shot List was put together which stated when the photographer would shoot who, what and where. This Shot List is a critical tool which enables the producer 'to orchestra' all relevant team members so that they know at any given moment what to do next, and what to prepare for.

After the photo shooting, which took two days on the premises of TKE, the chosen images were enhanced and optimized by Rimagine's retouching team. At the same time, the Shanghai graphic design team started to put preview-versions of the images into the layout.

After Rimagine receveid the final approval of the client on the screen-version, the appointed print manager took over and arranged test-prints (colour proofs) to ensure that the printed quality would be as good as what we all would see on-screen. After three rounds of color adjustments, the final artwork files (with the embedded final image files), were given together with the colour proofs to the printing company.
