We have done lots and lots of photography for the chocolate photography brand SENZ, originally from Belgium. Our entire studio smelled like chocolate, and Senz’ very own Maître chocolatier did an amazing job styling the different still-lifes. All shots were taken by our Shanghai food photographer, and also retouched in Shanghai. Have a look at more shots on our latest work page.

Two days ago we were given an assignment to come up with a few sample shots to show a client who is planning on publishing a dessert cook book for the Chinese market. We decided on taking two different approaches. First was a more traditional and simple food photography approach, using soft light and minimal arrangements in our studio in Shanghai.
Second we tried a fun ‘over the top shot’ with vibrant colors and a low angle. The sky and grass were added in by LJ, on of our senior retoucher from our post-production team.
