At the end of December, we started working with one of the largest furniture manufacturer of the U.S. The company has one of Asia’s biggest furniture factories near Shanghai in which a big part of the companies products are produced.  The factory also has some basic showrooms, in which following room set photographs have been shot by our team.  In total, we photographed three different sets on the same room set, but from different angles.

After the shooting, our retouching team in Shanghai digitally composed various backgrounds into the images, giving the impression that a real green scenery like a garden or green space actually was there.  In fact, only a simple looking factory wall in the basement of a Chinese factory was visible (see below).  We think the composition turned out nice and the effect looks ‘really real’.

Bathstore.com is the largest specialist bathroom retailer in the U.K. with more than 166 stores nationwide. Rimagine was chosen in 2009 to photograph various kinds of bathroom products, including bathtubs, sinks, toilets, shower cabins and faucets. Making full use of both of our photographic studios, five room set shots and more than eighty packshots (=abstracts, cut-out shots) were completed in three days.

These shots are just a few examples of the room set shots which were taken to help our client to showcase their products in the best possible manner.

In 2008 April, we organized a catalogue production for ARGINGTON (www.argington.com), an American manufacturer of modern children furniture. The 5-day shooting involved models, set-design, prop stylists, models, make-up artists and location scouting. We conceptualized an idea for a new catalogue and organized the entire production including:

- Producer (=Account Manager)
- Art Director
- Table-top Stylists
- Set Builders
- Photographer
- Retouchers
- Print Managers
- Location Scouts
- Models
- Hair & Make-Up Artists

Since all creative pros work under the same roof, it was easy for the team to meet regularly to discuss and follow-up on the project. A beautiful villa was found in an premium exclusive compound in Shanghai. The set-designers and builders went to work, and after the set designers and builders painted the walls, a beautiful wooden floor was put in the rooms. In total, 7 shooting locations were created, making it possible for the team to work on one a set, while the other was shooting on the other one. After the photography, all images were retouched (cleaned- up, clipped, optimized) and stored in Rimagine’s internal image database.
